| What are the roof slope requirements for TAP clay roof tile? | |
| TAP recommends a minimum slope of 4:12 or a roughly 35˚ pitch. No Clay Tile Roof should be laid below a 3:12 ratio. Though these tiles can be laid on roof framing possessing an extremely steep slope such as 19:12 and above, or vertical applications, installers will apply a bead of silicone sealant where it will not be seen when installing these tiles. This is an additional precaution which mat be used to help firmly affix the tiles to the roof. | |
